Caulking Gun for cartridges
A caulking Gun for cartridges is a tool that holds a tube or cartridge filled with the material used to seal gaps and cracks. The sealant can be made from different substances and for different purposes. The sealant applicator helps fill gaps and bond a wide variety of materials such as metal, glass, wood, ceramics, etc. Usually, the sealant is supplied in a tube. You will need a Caulking Gun to drive the sealant from the tube. The Hardtouch® applicator will help you regulate how much sealant is releasing at one time, and will also make the sealant come out exactly where you want it.
Hardtouch® Caulking Gun is high-end a heavy-duty grade that makes your job easy and comfortable.
How to Use a Caulking Gun.
Push the catch at the back of the gun to release the plunger at the back of the gun.
Pull the piston fully back. Insert the tube into the gun with the nozzle at the front.
Insert the plunger firmly into the back of the tube. The applicator is now loaded.
Cut the tip of the cartridge. Please pay attention that some cartridges have an extra protection foil membrane inside of the cartridge. Perforate the foil with a nozzle. Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle to match the size of the gap you want to fill.
Hold the gun at a 45-degree angle along the gap you want to seal.
Squeeze the gun’s handle or trigger slowly while drawing the gun toward you. When you can’t squeeze the handle release it. It will automatically spring back. When it is in its original position, you’re ready to squeeze again. How fast you squeeze the trigger and how quickly you move the gun will determine how much sealant is applied. Remember, more caulk will come out at the end of each squeeze.
You can smooth out the caulk with a caulking spatula when you’re done.
