The decking jack is another tool in the Hardtouch® family. Unlike the floor jack, its function is to squeeze two or more decking boards into the allotted space and hold them firmly in place. The tool helps hold the next deck board in the correct position relative to the installed board until you bolt it in place. The deck jack will help you straighten deformed, bent or crooked deck boards. Of course, a clamping strap is also suitable for this operation. But in some cases, the Deck Jack is more convenient in the deck board installation process.
Convenient and easy operation! Move the handle back as far as it will go toward the end of the toothed rail, and extend the claw to the desired width to encircle the two decking boards. Position the tool so that the back grip spans the bolted deck board and the front grip spans the ready-to-install board. Use the handle to move the toothed rail. Continue to rotate the toothed rack until the front grip pulls the prepared board into position. To release the jack, simply move the handle to the full reverse position.
The deck jack helps press or pull the deck boards into place. This tool can help straighten deformed, buckled, or crooked decking boards.
